FireShield 600g ABC Dry Powder Aerosol Fire Extinguisher

The FireShield ABC Dry Powder Aerosol Fire Extinguishers are extremely versatile. They are ideal for outdoor fire situations such as bonfires and firework mishaps. Suitable for use on Class A (combustible materials), Class B (flammable liquids) in open spaces, and Class C (flammable gases) fires, it’s for this reason they’re known as ‘ABC’ extinguishers. Powder fire extinguishers smother fires by producing a thick barrier between the fuel and the source of oxygen.

A powder fire extinguisher shouldn’t be used in confined spaces because the powder can be easily inhaled. Boasting PFAS free contents, consider this extinguisher for use in domestic, outdoor, and leisure applications, especially when enjoying fireworks or garden bonfires.

FireShield 1.0m x 1.0m Soft Case Fire Blanket

The FireShield soft case fire blanket is a type of fire safety equipment that consists of a piece of fire-resistant woven fibreglass material and is used to extinguish small fires. It is designed to be stored in a soft case for easy access in case of an emergency. Also, the dimension variants we offer are large enough to cover small bonfire flare-ups or accidental firework ignitions/

The fire blanket works by cutting off the oxygen supply and smothering the fire when laid over the top of the flame.

Fire blankets are often used in kitchens and laboratories where pan, oil or cooking fires can occur, but they are also highly effective for outdoor fires caused by small bonfire flare-ups, firework mishaps, or clothing catching sparks. Simply remove it from the case, unfold it, and place it over the fire, making sure to cover the entire area.

Some common uses for a fire blanket include:

Bonfire sparks: Smother a small flare-up by placing the fire blanket over the affected area. Always keep the blanket nearby when lighting or attending a bonfire.
Firework accidents: If a firework ignites accidentally on the ground or clothing, drape a fire blanket over the fire to cut off oxygen and prevent the flames from spreading.
Clothing fires: To smother the flames of clothing ignited by sparks, drape a fire blanket over the person and apply pressure to extinguish them.

Remember that a fire blanket should only be used on small fires, never large ones. If flames grow beyond control, move away and call the fire brigade immediately.
