WES3 Dustproof Smoke Detector

The Wes³ Dustproof Smoke Detector offers 24/7 protection to your site by adding smoke detectors to your Wes³ solution. The smoke detector is simple to install, set up and operate and acts as an early warning of a fire risk. The smoke detector is ideal for areas that are prone to higher levels of dust including temporary accommodation units, site offices and store rooms etc.

Due to the detectors dual-optic sensor technology, it will help to prevent false alarms and will ensure more accurate fire detection across site as it will only activate by broad spectrum particles formed by smoke. When connecting the smoke detector to a GSM base station, a text alert is sent when the unit automatically triggered.

The smoke detector unit is silent and connects directly to the WES system to activate the fire alarm system across the site in the event of a fire. When activated, the units red LED will flash for 30 minutes after activation for easy identification. The smoke detector can be ceiling mounted and is suitable for internal use.

The detector can be linked to your mesh radio network of your overall Wes³ solution to maximise your site safety. A GSM base station can be added to make sure that security and monitoring personnel receive a text alert if the fire alarm is automatically triggered or it can link through to WES REACT to provide even more features.

The systems three years + battery life when externally tested for normal usage conditions reduces lifetime cost and the need for constant replacement.

The Wes³ Smoke Detector is certified to EN54 and the Wes³ product range can be installed to BS5839 which delivers the ability to provide protection for temporary accommodation units as soon as they are on site at the very beginning of your project. The Wes³ Smoke Detector complies with HSG168 which helps you to comply with the Fire Protection Association Joint Code of Practice and BS-5839-1.
