The Firechief PureSafe 6ltr F Class Fluorine Free Foam Extinguisher has been developed for commercial kitchens and food preparation areas where more than one fire risk may be present. In addition to tackling cooking oil and fat fires, it can also be used on Class A materials such as paper, wood and textiles, reducing the need for separate extinguishers in some environments.

One of the key differences between the PureSafe range and many traditional foam extinguishers is the use of a PFAS-free extinguishing agent. As businesses increasingly review the use of products containing 'forever chemicals', this provides an alternative that supports environmental objectives without sacrificing fire performance.

Rated 21A 75F, dielectrically tested to 35kV and supplied with a wall bracket as standard, the FFF6S is backed by a 5-year manufacturer warranty.

PDI Inspection A PDI inspection on a fire extinguisher stands for Pre-Delivery Inspection. It’s the safety and quality check performed before an extinguisher is handed over to the customer. Here’s what it involves:

Commissioning

Commissioning is the process of making a new fire extinguisher ready for service. In the UK, commissioning is required by BS 5306-3 and must be carried out onsite by a competent fire extinguisher technician.
