The Stairmate Major effortlessly carries all types of wheelchairs including power chairs, up or down staircases and steps in evacuation or access situations.
Certain environments, like historic buildings where structural changes are not permitted, can present accessibility challenges. These environments may not be able to provide built-in wheelchair access that ensures that everyone can gain access or safely evacuate the premises. That's where the Stairmate Major comes in.
The world's only portable inclined platform lift, the Stairmate Major is designed to be versatile enough to accommodate almost any wheelchair, including manual, electric, and sports chairs. It includes integrated tie-down straps with a seatbelt to hold the wheelchair security onto the platform. The large wheels make moving the Stairmate Major across flat surfaces and around stairway landings extremely easy.
The sealed 24V batteries provide consistent power and the compact, off-board charger makes charging the Stairmate Major easy and convenient. Powerful dual motors can carry up to 200kgs up 30 flights of stairs on a single charge.
Rubber tracks with specially designed saw-tooth lugs provide a secure grip and stability on any stairway, while the hundreds of steel wires moulded into the tracks ensure strength and durability. The Stairmate Major can be used both indoors and outdoors, and the wheelchair can be easily transferred onto the Stairmate Major away from the stairs. It is ideal for external applications, including stone, metal and wood, and is extremely convenient for use in restricted areas.

Fire Protection Shop specialise in the supply of high-quality fire extinguishers. There are many different classifications of fire and so our products include a variety of different extinguisher types. For example, we offer water or foam fire extinguishers for solid combustibles and carbon dioxide fire extinguishers for flammable liquid or electrical fires. Each extinguishing agent comes with its benefits. Typically, water extinguishers are cheaper, produce a cooling effect and prevent reignition once the fire has been extinguished. Carbon dioxide extinguishers are clean agents, they leave no residue, are suitable for electrical fires and are often used on liquid fires which include petrol, oil or other solvents.
In addition to our extinguishers, we offer a range of fire safety products to both domestic and commercial premises. This includes the supply of fire blankets, extinguisher stands, smoke alarms, first aid kits and much more. Our entire range is sourced from reputable brand manufacturers at competitive prices.
