Caravans are typically quite enclosed spaces and therefore we would NOT recommend using a dry powder fire extinguisher. Dry powder extinguishing agents, when used, can make the area unsafe to stand in. It can become difficult to breathe in these spaces and potentially cause asphyxiation. Additionally, they can cause a lot of interior damage if used in enclosed spaces.
Instead, we recommend using a 1ltr or 2ltr foam extinguisher as these are safer and more effective. Also, keep your fire extinguisher:
Mounted in a dedicated bracket.
Near a door/escape.
Away from cooking appliances.
Away from cooking oils.
